How to change your password

To change a password on your Expedient service, such as your email or dial-up account:

  1. Log on to myExpedient with your Expedient email address and your email password.
  2. After you log on successfully, go to the Services menu and select Service Settings and then Change Password.
  3. Place a check in the service or services for which you would like to change the password.
  4. Type the new password into the "Enter New Password" and "Re-enter New Password" fields.
  5. Click the Change button.
  6. You will receive a confirmation that will indicate whether or not your password change (s) was successful.
    Your password for username@expedient.net has been changed. Please write down your new password and note that password changes can take up to half an hour.

Important Note: The change in your password may not take effect for up to 30 minutes. Thus, if you have changed your dial-up password and disconnect from the Internet but cannot reconnect right away with your new password, please note that your old password will continue to work until the password change has propagated through our system.
