How to check or change your home page
Your homepage is the page that first displays when you open your web browser while you are connected to the Internet.
We recommend setting your home page to http://my.expedient.net
so you have quick access to manage your account and use our online support. However, you can set your homepage to be any
site you choose. Follow the directions below to set or change your homepage address:
Macintosh OS X
- Select menu item: Apple Menu > System Preferences.
- Click on the Show All icon to ensure all preferences are visible.
- Single click on the Internet icon.
- Select the Web tab.
- Enter your preferred home page in the "Home Page" box. For example,
http://my.expedient.net.
- Quit the System Preferences application by selecting menu item: System
Prefs > Quit System Prefs.
Macintosh OS 8.5-9.1
- Select Apple Menu > Control Panel > Internet
- Click on the 'Web' Tab
- Enter your preferred home page in the "Home Page" box. For example,
http://my.expedient.net
- Close the window, and when prompted, Click "Save" To save the
changes..
Windows XP, 2000, ME, 98, & NT
Internet Explorer 5 and up
- Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel and double click "Internet Options" -OR- open Internet Explorer and click the "Tools" menu and select "Internet Options".
- Enter your preferred home page in the "Address" field at the top of the "General" tab. For example,
http://my.expedient.net
- Click "Apply" then click "OK".
Netscape 4.x and up
- Open Netscape. Click the Edit menu and select Preferences.
- Click the [+] to the left of "Navigator" to expand the selection.
- Enter your preferred home page in the "Location" field on the right pane. For example,
http://my.expedient.net
- Click "OK".
